Electronic massage bath Atlantis (20 min)

Bath tub Atlantis meets all the wishes a client may have. Electronic programs of hydro-massage are ideal for a therapy or simple relaxation. Massage is started from feet and is concluded on one’s neck and is comparable to the massage conducted by an experienced masseuse. 172 jets, anatomically adjusted to treat body’s reflex areas, are applied to offer the client hydro- and air massage. Pleasant and soothing vibration-pressure massage revives, invigorates, improves blood circulation and assures general well being.

The procedure is indicated for: alleviation of problems accompanying disturbances in blood pressure, rheumatic diseases, overweight and myotasis but also for simple relaxation of muscles. The procedure is not indicated in case of acute inflammations, trombo-phlebitis, skin injuries (prohibiting any contact with water) and some cardiac diseases.

Mud treatment (15 min)

Mud treatment as a method of medical rehabilitation is based on good experiences of more than 175 years. We use the mud from Mullutu Suurlaht that is rich in organic matters and minerals and free of any pollution, thus being ideal for treatment.

Mud treatment is known to have three various effects:

  • Mechanic action – is directly applied to skin surface.
  • Lasting thermal effect – mud releases heat very slowly and this is applied evenly all over the body. The effect of heat improves blood circulation and metabolism of the whole body.
  • Chemic or bioactive effect – mud contains almost all the natural ingredients, including vitamins, minerals, hormones, biologically active substances having so-called bioactive effect in the body. A certain number of mud baths needs to be taken for the effect to become apparent.

Serious mud therapy requires more time for all the important impacts of mud to take effect. According to historically established traditions, mud therapy is conducted every other day; therefore, at least two weeks are needed for proper mud therapy. Of course, the treatment is most effective if at least 10 procedures of mud therapy are conducted.

The procedure is indicated for: chronic arthritis, back diseases and other skeletal or muscle diseases, chronic skin diseases (psoriasis, skin inflammations) and rheumatoid arthritis, rehabilitation after injuries. The treatment is known to reduce pain, lower blood pressure and hyper-sensitivity of organism, increases resistance to diseases.

The procedure is not indicated in case or after malignant tumours, fibromyoma, haematopoietic diseases (leukaemia, anaemia, etc.), tendency to haemorrhage, tuberculosis and other infectious diseases, cardiac ischemia, heart failure, essential hypertension with complications, apparent atherosclerotic changes in brain, acute diseases and inflammations, extensive varicose, post-thrombosis syndrome, severe bronchial asthma and cases of hypotonic. Please bring your towel when attending mud therapy.

Energy cocoon gives excellent results in beauty, sports and recreational therapy, treatment of various diseases, restoration of vitality and energy. The name given to the energy cocoon is symbolic and succinct: in Latin, ‘neo’ means new while’Qi’ belong to ancient Chinese medical philosophy and is known to stand for the invisible life energy that flows everywhere. The health capsule combines a number of efficient and loved beauty and recreational therapies: infra-red sauna, steam sauna, vibration massage, aromatherapy, Vichy douche, hydro-massage bath with various programs. During the first stage of treatment the patient is required to lie on the massage table in a closed capsule. The head is left out of the capsule and lies comfortably on a pillow. Infra-red heat, steam and vibration are applied simultaneously. Aromatherapy or herb therapy can be applied simultaneously.

The first stage of treatment is concluded with Vichy douche massage that reminds of rain. The second stage of treatment is conducted with open cocoon in a water bath. The equipment allows conducting relaxing body massage with various hydro-massage programs.

Paraffin-ozocerite therapy represents superficial thermal treatment and is used topically in case of muscle or limb problems. It helps to relax muscle, improve the blood circulation of skin and subcutaneous tissues, extends refectory blood vessels in deeper muscles and limbs while alleviating pain.
The mixture of paraffin and natural ozocerite or mineral wax is used for therapy. Adding of ozocerite helps to keep the mixture warm longer; natural essential oils present in ozocerite are known to have a healing effect.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes during the procedure. You don’t have to bring a towel.

Our organism requires heat for existence and untroubled functioning. The availability of sufficient heat is extremely important during healing processes. Here, the procedure involving oil dispersion bath is a wonderful procedure, involving heating of the body resulting in improved circulation. Essential oils, used as heating components of oil dispersion bath, are created in plants thanks to active heat radiated by the Sun and life processes taking place in plants. As essential oils have considerable heat density, external treatments involving such oils can offer the body wonderful heat. Oils are, above all, necessary where heat produced by human body is insufficient for biocomplete living and healing processes.

Essential oils:

  • provide our bodies with protecting sheath of heat and thus limit the volumes of heat radiated into surrounding environment;
  • improve the circulation and intensify heating processes;
  • harmonize the sensitivity of skin receptors and therefore contribute to overall activity of all the organs.

We are using high-quality essential oils of well-known herbs – barberry, birch tree, Equisetum, Hypericum, lavender, rose, rosemary, nettle and mistletoe – for influencing human body during the oil dispersion bath procedure. Dispersion device sprays the particles of oil into water, therefore increasing the area of oil 2,500-fold and intensifying the activity of oil in water. The unique spraying device contributes to excellent absorption of essential oils through the skin.

We are recommending to use oil dispersion bath procedure if you are suffering from the following problems:

  • heat regulation disturbances (cold hands and feet)
  • metabolic disturbances (diabetes, obesity, increased levels of cholesterol)
  • skin diseases (eczema, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis)
  • chronic inflammation in urinary tracts
  • stress, depression, sleeping problems
  • chronic problems with joints

The water temperature of oil dispersion bath must match the skin temperature. The bath procedure usually lasts for 10-20 minutes; then the body is covered in towels (no drying) and the patient is asked to lay down for about 20-30 minutes. The procedure should be repeated 2-3 times per week.

Herb and pearl bath (15 min)

The temperature of bath water remains between 34-38oC; various herbal concentrates or sea salts are added to the water, combined with small air bubbles and massaging hydro jets to achieve the pearl bath effect.

Herb and pearl baths are known to have soothing and stress-relieving, skin-softening effect; they also improve the motorics of intestine, alleviate sleeping irregularities, accelerate metabolism, reduce blood pressure and enhance the circulation in hands and feet. Herb and pearl bath restores one’s body and spirit after stressful work, relax muscular tensions, improve the circulation and metabolism. The selection of herbal oils available is really extensive.

When combined with other options of hydro and thermal therapies, herb and pearl bath is ideal in case of chronic cardio-vascular diseases. Combined with gymnastic or water gymnastic and massage, therapeutic baths help to soothe discomfort and ankylosis in limbs, accompanying various limb diseases. Baths are not indicated in case of acute inflammatory processes.
